About this product

Product Information

Twenty playable characters highlight this fighting game based on the Cartoon Network anime. As in the two Clash of Ninja titles on GameCube, Clash of Ninja Revolution has players guiding a cel-shaded Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and other principal characters across eight multi-tiered stages. Play modes include Mission, Score Attack, Time Attack, Versus, and Survival. Up to four players can also battle each other in custom team-based matches or in chaotic free-for-alls. While the Wii Remote and Nunchuk are used to unleash each character's variety of special attacks by default, the game supports both GameCube and Classic controllers as well.

  • Review - Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution (Wii)

Easy to pick up Plenty of recognizable Naruto characters Loads of control options Keeping with series standards, the action in Revolution is fast and simple, though still fairly evocative of the confrontations you might actually see in Naruto. You've got a strong and a weak attack that you can mix up for attack combos, and you can perform a basic throw. Incoming attacks can be blocked or dodged, and a well-timed dodge will trigger your substitution jutsu, which causes you to immediately appear on the other side of your opponent, giving you the drop on them. You'll build up chakra--the magical ninja energy that powers the fighters in the world of Naruto--as you both give and receive damage, and once you build up enough chakra, you can unleash one of your character's special jutsu ...

  • This is a must buy for Naruto fans!

Wii Naruto seems almost like a recycled version of Naruto titles released on older platforms (PS2 ect). The revolutionary Wii game controllers, however, bring this game to new levels. My 13-year-old daughter, who is an “advanced game player,” remains absolutely thrilled about this game. The action packed game play of this storyline remains fast paced and relatively simple. My 8-year-old daughter is able to play Clash of the Ninja Revolution and she gains added levels of ability everyday. So, in summary, this game is challenging enough for an advanced gamer and yet painless enough for the beginners. Hard core gamers should steer clear of this game as you will not be impressed with the similarities between Naruto:Revolution and the previously released titles. However, this game is a ...

  • Kids love the game

Kids really wanted this game: introduced to Naruto through trading cards, friends and online game. Although my 2 boys don't understand English, the game is simple enough to learn without understanding the English interface and characters are faithful to trading cards and tv show. Brothers aged 8 and 10 can play cooperatively which is a godsend: no bickering between otherwise competitive boys. Toned down / simulated violence makes it acceptable to parents. Fantasy is played up so as not to encourage any agressive behavior on the part of impressionable kids. Kids are loving it! Great for those rainy days.

  • It Keeps Him Entertained

My son has wanted this game for a while now. We finally bought it for him and he seemed pleased. After he played for a while and learned the moves, both he and his little brother literally played the entire day. That should tell you how much they enjoyed the game. I don't play Naruto on the Wii but my son tells me that the new Wii controlled version of the game is far better than the Gamecube Naruto games that he has had in the past. So we say it gets 2 thumbs up!!
