Nicely packed and item was as described, but seller was badly let down by the shipper. Fed Ex handed the package off to a 3rd party carrier, who could not find my home which is just 2 miles from a Fed Ex office. Finally, FedEX mailed me a post card asking for my address info! The FedEx rep whose number was on the post card couldn't explain why the Post Office could find me but their contractor couldn't. Eventually someone dropped it on my doorstep.

Sorry for delayed response, but was out of town /// Item as advertised /// Excellent condition /// Well wrapped /// THANK YOU!!! PS: Item sent via FedEx & sat on porch since 5/20 instead being held at PO. It was only due to the absolutely excellent wrapping that the magazine was not completely ruined by the rain!!! THANK YOU (again)!!!

  • MUST READ !

I first read this author when I happened into the book INTO THIN AIR about an Everset sxpedition gone awry. I was ENTHRALLED!!! I could not put it down, I told everyone I know about it. Then we toured Alaska for 3 weeks this summer and the movie INTO THE WILD was released the day we returned to the lower 48.I had to see it. THEN I saw that Krakauer wrote it and I had to get the book. It is well written and respectfully done toward the memory of the young man whose life ended in the Alaskan wild......It was fantastic....I am so glad I read both of these Krakauer books. I am a middle aged woman who considers herself somewhat adventurous and out of the mainstream of life. I love the spirit of the people in these books. Thanks Jon....Keep up the great work...

  • Road Trip

What a great book to listen to on a road trip while traveling through Arizona where alot of the travels take place.

  • One of my favorties! Book and movie go together so well

Such an amazing story. Especially when it is being read aloud to you. Something sweet about it. Thank you
