    A struggling family, much like what many families have gone through

    I was a little disappointed with this movie, and I have thought about why, I think it was because of so much of it was just like it would happen in a real life experienc. You think about Where God Left His Shoes title there would be some kind of miraculous intervention. This family struggled and still stood together at the end. I especially liked the part where the father states, "you mean I can put my life on the the line to fight in Iraq to help you, but you can't give me a chance for a home by putting yourself on the line" this is not word for word but had a big impact for me.

    Where God Left His Shoes- DVD

    What I liked about this movie was that it was made with a sense of realism. The characters in the movie were very credible.Living in New York City poverty is very difficult alone and can crush the human spirit, not having a place to call home is even worse.In this movie you will be invited in not only to witness the challenges and humiliations the underclass endure every day, but the very day- to- day hardships that can strip us of our dignity. John Leguizamo was brilliant in this role as were the entire supporting cast. I would classify this movie for mature audiences. This is not a religious film, but as the title of the film dictates, "where God left his shoes" does teach us a few lessons we could all afford to learn in humanity.

    Not entertaining at all!

    I could not allow children to watch this movie, and even I found it to be a movie not in my category of entertainment. Foul language. The title is deceiving, and the reviews I read before ordering did not guide me in the right direction.
