Inspector Winship (Knotts) and Dr. Tart (Conway) are a pair of Scotland Yard investigators who are called on to look into the mysterious murders of Lord and Lady Morley. At the possibly haunted Morley mansion the bumbling duo have to deal with a bizarre household staff, a wealthy heiress, and more in this hilarious spoof of Sherlock Holmes and other mystery stories. One of the best pairings for Knotts and Conway, with plenty of inspired slapstick and wackiness.

    Private eyes

    I am 40 yr's old,I watched this with my mother when I was 13 yr's old. I've looked over the yr's to find it, and just couldn't or it was $30.00+. I now own it and made alot of new memories watching it with my own daughter(17). With everything out there it was great to just sit down and watch a truely GOOD movie with my daughter. I would recommend this movie to everyone!!!

    This is one great Movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have been hunting this movie for a while! It stars two great and very funny guys! It was filmed about 50 miles from my home at the Builtmore House in Asheville NC! This is a very beautiful place indeed! This movie is full of a lot of slapstick humor that kept us laughing! I highly recommend it!
