Loosely based on <i>The Divine Comedy</i>'s first act, Dante's Inferno is a third-person action game starring Dante Alighieri: an Italian mercenary who journeys to hell itself to retrieve the love of his life, Beatrice. As he ventures into hell's nine circles, from limbo to treachery, Dante will engage demons and other ghastly creatures looking to end his heroic quest in gruesome fashion. To survive, Dante wields a massive scythe made of bone, Death's scythe, which has the ability to harvest souls from the damned. Dante can also channel holy powers from a cross bequeathed to him by Beatrice, and even tame some of the dark creatures he encounters during his dangerous descent. Dante will soon discover that he must atone for his past sins while preparing for his ultimate confrontation with fallen angel Lucifer.

Dante's Inferno For PSP
The Game was good. A little challenging in some places but the walk through for x box line up almost exactly, so they can be helpful if you are having trouble. The ending of the game is to be continued which was a kinda a drag. The graphics weren't bad. I would by it again knowing all this. The storyline that play's through the game is interesting. The storyline does mix a lot of different religions. If you are looking for a role play type game, I would recommend. For younger children, I would go against getting the game for because of nudity and adult theme.The Game was good. The game play is much like God of War. I'm 44 years young. LOL! So I like the mature aspects, i.e. nudity and sex. We need more games gear toward adult tastes, that aren't all about hookers and drugs. I really like the fact that you can play as good or bad. I'm a christian and dig that you can absolve instead of punish. A game like this on the scale of the Fable series would be really cool. All in all, IT'S BUTTON SMASHING BLAST, with a great story!The game play is much like God of War. I'm 44 years young. LOL! So I like the mature aspects, i.e. nudity and sex.
