    Really? Review something made in 1954??

    Maybe the robots need updating. This is a toy train car made in 1954. Lionel still makes similar cars, but they don't make 'em like they used to, nor where they used to. These cars made 1954 until early '60s if my recall is decent, will last indefinitely as long as you "clean and lubricate your equipment." Quote is from Lionel's instruction book.

    2530 single plate baggage car

    A very hard car to find is the 2530 baggage car with only one plate in the center of the car, made only in the red stripe passenger car set. The original box is a very very hard box to find in later colors of orange & white with a perferated panel and commands a premium price compared to the earlier boxes. A nice piece to add to your passenger car collection.
