About this product

Product Information

In this exhilarating new novel of romance and intrigue, New York Times bestselling author Jane Feather tells the tale of an adventurous young woman and the hardened spy who is unexpectedly-and most inconveniently-captivated by her.... Independent and inquisitive, Meg Barratt wants nothing to do with any stifling society marriage. Meg yearns for the kind of passion that exists only in books-until a violent storm lands her on the high seas with the most dangerous and seductive man she's ever encountered...or imagined. For Cosimo, women are objects, to be manipulated for business or pleasure...sometimes both. But when the seafaring assassin accidentally kidnaps Meg on his latest mission, he must reconsider his position. Recruiting his unsuspecting captive for the danger ahead is far more challenging than he expected-and far more seductive.

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!

  • Almost a Lady

This book is worse than "poor". This well-known author and her publisher should be sanctioned for foisting such an infantile story on the public, and it looks very much by the incomplete way the story was left hanging, that Ms. Feather plans to continue her horror of a book. Briefly, it is a two character book which takes place on an English privateer during the Napoleonic wars. The privateer is also an assasin whose job it is to kill Napoleon. Very strangely Ms.Feather has called his ship the "Mary Jane" which is an historically important ship which was built in the 1500's. Out of all the names she could have called the ship, why was she so ignorant as to call it this? One can't begin to cover all the absurdities that abound in this book. I am horribly sure she plans to continue the ...

  • Another Feather quickie

Much like most of Jane Feather's books I found that it was a quick enjoyable book. To get the full story of the main character Meg you need to read Almost a Bride. I enjoyed watching the full spirited Meg find a life outside of her families country estate. Meg is anything but conventional, and it would be a shame to see her settle for anything less than an adventure. This is your typical fictional historical romance. It could never happen in real life, but isn't that the point of reading these type of books....escapism!!!!

  • Almost a Lady Like "almost a snooze"

I have to say that I have enjoyed most of the books I've read by Jane Feather, however, I was very disappointed in this one. What a let-down. I can't hardly find anything that kept my interest -there was the slutty over sexed leading lady & the strange slightly off leading man. The book was very hard to finish and just plain boring. The ending was aweful. Hate to say it, but I wouldn't recommend this book!

  • Almost A Lady

I will buy anything this author publishes. She is a marvelous writer and her characters are almost intering, ingenious, and fun to read.
