Gamers return to the slopes in this third full edition of EA's exaggerated-action snowboarding series, SSX. As the game goes "On Tour," players create their own custom characters, which they'll develop from amateur bunny-hillers to seasoned "Black Diamond" pros. For the first time, the game allows skiers on the mountains as well, and players can decide if they'd rather ski or board when they create their characters. Building upon a distinguishing feature of the series, SSX On Tour features long, seamlessly streaming courses, some of which may take as long as half-an-hour (of real-time) to complete. The slopes are populated with fellow boarders and skiers in this edition, providing some extra personality. Featuring more than 40 songs, the diverse rock soundtrack includes selections by Def Leppard, The Hives, Iron Maiden, Bloc Party, Jurassic 5, and several others.

    SSX On Tour: The Rview

    This is one of the only game on the major systems that offers skiing, so I was very excited to play it. As it turns out, this game is a good action sports game that offers some fun gameplay and great graphics. It is a mix between high speed racing and slopestyle which involves tricks. It has several game modes like head to head competitions, time trials, and other challeneges. One of the cooler features is that it contains real companies and skis such as Line, Armada, and Dynastar to name a few. The customizability of your character is great and gives many options. All in all, its a decent game and the best skiing option for a video game out now. And the fact that its nearly two years old and can be found for a relatively inexpensive price, its a must get.

    very fun let lose game

    Love this game thought it was fun and good and I love being on tour and turning pro and the tricks. This game for me was a let lose relaxe type of game the graphic and main menu was good and its an all around good game i enjoy SSX3 and my expectation of this was also good....
