Require power and long burn in time.
I used my LG-v30 initially to power these cans and came away unimpressed. Hooking these cans up to my Meridian Explorer2 DAC yielded much better results. The highs are sweet sounding, midrange is okay, and the bass is acceptable. Don’t plan on enjoying bass heavy music like hip-hop or pop. These aren’t those types of headphones. The soundstage and imaging are really good for a closed back headphone. Probably because they use a passive radiator on the back of headphone. The manufacturer recommends 300 hours of burn in, about 30 days, to get the full benefits of the 1MORE Graphene drivers. The build quality is second to none. 1MOREs use of stainless steel and machined aluminum now only gives them great durability, but they look like well made expensive headphones. I like them so far and it’s only been 2 days using them. I’ll update this review in about a month, after they have had a chance to loosen up a bit more. Update two months later and amplified These cans really rock when connected to a decent amplifier. I now use them with a vintage Realistic STA-720 receiver and BOY do these headphones rock! The sound is very dynamic. The highs are precise. The bass is good. The sub bass is great. The passive radiator definitely helps with eardrum shaking bass. Loud or soft, these headphones excel in playing ANY music. I listen to mostly 24bit high resolution music and these headphones bring out every tiny detail. I can listen comfortably for about an hour at a time. Remove for a few minutes to let your ears breathe because they can become a bit warm for long listening. These definitely sound better then my Sennheiser HD-380. Highly recommend these to anyone wanting a fun, stylish on ear headphone. I doubt you’ll find a better deal anywhere.

I've had the triple driver and the quad driver in ear earphones, these headphones are of the same superior quality. Compared to the Monster brand (Beats by Dre [the studio in particular] ), the 1more are head and shoulders above. The sound quality, lightweight, price, and convenience (you do not need batteries), these are all around better.
