Wish I bought this backpack a long time ago. I used a high-end Thule backpack for a few years that was okay but I never loved it. This Jansport Big Student XL is much better and more affordable. The design is such that it expands outwardly in a uniform way the more you fill it. Laptop sleeve, padded straps, and bottle holder are nice perks. Folding back the zipper flaps helped me to reduce and/or eliminate any zipper friction. Good balance of deep compartments and pockets.
