The fujifilm instax came as exactly as described, and operates perfectly. It also came with a sealed 10 film pack as described. It is clear the camera was well taken care of, and whoever packaged it for transit took great care in ensuring it would not be damaged. The seller even left me batteries to try the camera out myself! The transit was swift and I can’t wait to use the camera for family events :)

    Excellent little GPS unit

I hauled this on several Boy Scout outings as well as camp maintenance expeditions this past winter, and a couple of very long road trips. Compared to other handheld E-Trex family units, this allows long enough waypoint and track names to be more descriptive and less cryptic. The extra memory permits longer "bread crumb" trails compared to my E-Trex legends that I've used for the past decade. The built in flux gate compass lets me get bearings to distant landmarks even when stationary, such as standing on a mountain summit or even up in a tree or on a ladder, and the barometric altimeter lets me determine the elevation changes even with too heavy overhead cover to get a satellite fix. Also the color display is a first for me. It makes features more easily distinguished in the ...

  • Great Hiking Companion

This little unit is great for going out on the trail for a hike. Its extremely accurate monitoring your speed in the car too. The size is just right for making it portable. I chose this model over the Legend Cx since it has a built in Altimeter. Unfortunately, the altimeter isn't all that accurate. Unless you know the actual elevation or barometric pressure, you can't calibrate the unit or trust it for an accurate number. I've been on a boat at sea level and it told me I was at -22ft elevation . . . go figure. It does however work from a perspective that it gives you an accurate elevation profile of your hike if you download it to a computer. I think the altimeter will be more useful and accurate if I were to purchase the topographic map to use the iso lines to calibrate the ...

  • Great Tool for Geocaching

I am into Geocaching. I was using a PDA and a Pharos GPS. It was accurate but awkward. I read several reviews of different GPS units at the Geocaching.com site and decided the Garmin eTrex would be the right replacement. Since I do a lot of shopping on ebay, I of course, checked here for it and found one for a decent price. This Garmin GPS unit is great for Geocaching! It's small, sturdy and pretty easy to use. The display is a good size, clear and can be set to whatever brightness is desired. There are several screens that aid in navigation: satellites being used, map, electronic compass, coordinates, etc. There are a couple things I don't like about the unit. First, the brightness level doesn't stay at the level I set it at previously when I turn it back on. Also, it takes ...

  • kGarmin Etrex Vista

The feature that drove me to buy this model was the removable memory. It adds versitility, I use the GPS in many parts of the country and thought I needed the ability for multiple chips. It turns out the 128 mb chip that came with the GPS has so much room I was able to load all the areas that I need from the Map Disc, I dont need another chip! Its great! The color screen is a very nice feature, not absolutley necessary but nice. The only feature that is hard to use is the joy stick control for fuction selection. It is so sensitive it takes alot of practice to get what you want the first time from the menu. The features that I wanted, at a reasonable price was the deciding factor to my purchase. I have owned GPS's for 10 or 12 years and have seen them improve. This is my third and has what ...

  • Garmin Vista Cx Gps

The unit is compact and good, pretty good graphics also, Maps from Garmin..semi expensive and only limited areas, Im in Connecticut and Garmin dosent have the 24 K Topo for this area, only the 100K. I guess i can live with that since the GPS was inexpensive.. If you want the higher detail from National Geographic (24 k )you need another brand that accepts it, I wouldn't mind spending more for a more detailed local area. Oh well, but the Garmin GPS does work well even without the TOPO maps. If all you do is simple hiking and if all the extra features are not necessary, a simple track back GPS is good, they are about 50-60 bucks and not that painful if lost.. this Garmin being lost would hurt..LOL It works good for the speed, trip, and all the other features that are built in, I am happy ...
