Uncirculated Dime
This Mercury Dime was bought for numismatic detail of the coin. It was not bought for silver content. I buy bullion for that. This dime will not be melted for silver reclaim. This coin is good enough that my local coin/bullion dealer will pay a numismatic value over common melt value. Unfortunately, my local grocer will only accept it at legal tender face value because he has a retail grocer license in my state, not a pawn broker license.This Mercury Dime was bought for numismatic detail of the coin. 1944 Mercury Dime
Brilliant shine with fine detail. There are wear patterns on the hair and back pillar. Vines are in very good condition. Center of the post should have a divided line which is the most used area of a coin but this particular coin shows wear within this area. Excellent purchase.
