A Rare Must Have for the Bond Enthusiast
This book, written by Bond girl, Maryam d'Abo (The Living Daylights) was written as a limited edition companion coffee table book to the documentary of the same name. It was released in conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of the James Bond films. The book is full of beautiful photographs and interviews with some of the most famous Bond girls in history from Ursula Andres to Hallie Berry. The book not only details the women themselves, but the characters they portrayed. My understanding is that there was only one single printing of the book and it was printed in the UK to the highest standards. This book was written in 2002 and released early in 2003. I have been fortunate enough to have Maryam sign my copy recently which literally makes it one of kind. I highly recommend this book ... Being written by an actual Bond girl, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but this is a really great book! Fantastic photos of all the beautiful women who have become legendary in the world of Bond, including many behind-the-scenes shots. Plus, a lot of commentary on what it was like being in the movies, and how people react to them, even today.
