Stops working after 3 months
Don't expect it to work and you may be pleasantly surprised. When it works it's great. But 4 out of 5 times I use it, it shuts off prematurely or records a silent track instead of the levels I heard. My batteries are always new, always full, my card has plenty of space and it is not set to auto shut off when idle. From what I know and hear this item has an extremely high defect rate and you may not experience it for a few months, but when you do, it makes this thing useless for work. All of my audio recorders are tascams but I won't be stocking up on this model.Don't expect it to work and you may be pleasantly surprised. When it works it's great. this is the perfect solution for me. i am a wedding videographer and this has eliminated the problems I've had with wireless radio systems and bulky zoom recorders. Has a sweet professional sound. Tascam did not disappoint.
