Save you time and save you money do it right the first time with AC Delco Parts.
Its been two weeks since I installed them on my sons 2006 Silverado HD 5.3. I took a tap and die and clean the threads before installing the knock sensors and torquing them to specs along with installing a new harness and removed the rear foam and built a dam around holes where they sit with red high heat RTV sealant. I think It is going to run great for a long time. Just as long I never wash that engine again..(poor engineering on GM's part.) After hours of reading how cheaper knock sensors were installed only to have to do it again with AC Delco parts I purchased mine from jamesaudio-motiveinc for the best price and AC OEM quality.Its been two weeks since I installed them on my sons 2006 Silverado HD 5.3.
