    As good as ever..

    Dave Hughes is my favorite instructional writer on fly tying and fly fishing. In this second edition of Wet Flies he continues to deliver solid instruction. I have been reading and collecting Dave's books for over thirty years and he never disappoints. There are other great and more expensive soft hackle and wet fly books...Nemes and Leisenring immediately come to mind. Get this and get a lot of the information covered in those volumes in one book. Highly recommended!

    Interesting and informative.

    It's a good book for anyone that's interested in learning about fishing, and tying Wet Flies. In my opinion, wet flies will always be more effective for catching fish than dry flies. I have 47 years experience in tying flies and fly fishing. I've also been featured in national magazines for flies that I created. I'm happy with the book. I think it's interesting and informative. I would recommend it for both beginners, as well as experienced individuals, who are interested in the fly tying, and fly fishing of wet flies.
