    Suggested to buy

    My girlfriend suggested that I buy this rather than use my cell phone's map system. I had to buy the charger for it, as it didn't come with one. That was useless cause it won't pick up the maps when plugged into the car. That means fully charge it before use! It's handy to have as a back up.

    Excellent for APRS applications

    This GPS is really easy to use and configure for APRS. Look for the nuvi 350 interface cable from argentdata and you are all set. You can do messaging and see other stations on the map. You can set another station as destination and it will take you there without internet.

    Oldie but a Goodie

    I've owned 7 of these Nuvi's over the years. They are ancient with small 3.5" screens and in GPSr terms, but still have a place for some users and still command pricing as high or higher than refurbs with 4.3 screens. The FMI is this single force still driving demand and high prices for this venerable GPSr.

    Easy to use

    I love this gps, it is easy to use and to set up. I currently have 1 in my car, 1 in our semi, and I bought 1 for my son for his semi...I would advise this for anyone out there...
