After an extensive search on eBay and the web, I found this case. It's a perfect size to hold all my telescope accessories -- large 2" diameter eyepieces, binoculars, flashlights, laser pointer, etc. -- while protecting them in transit and allowing for future items to be added. I needed a case that had sturdy hinges, hard sides and lots of customizable padding. This case fills the bill perfectly and at a great price.After an extensive search on eBay and the web, I found this case. This is a good case for anyone starting out on their own. Starting out, gigs are sporadic. So this case will due for the person who lugs their gear around every once in a while. Once your business picks up and you start packing more gear and going to more gigs, you will definitely want to upgrade to a more expensive case. The case itself is great for those starting out. Seems To Do What I Bought It For
I often travel but don't enjoy others handling my camera equipment. With this case I can put my camera and several lenses inside and then stash it under a seat of overhead bin. The case came with small squares that seem easily removable to fit the equipment . If you have telephoto lenses you need to lay them in the area where the squares were but a wide angle or a small prime lens you can sit upright in the case. Well built
This is a pretty good case with lots of interior padding. I especially like that it closes tightly and perfectly. The handle and clasps are solid. If you look behind the padding though you will notice that it's mostly made of a kind of cardboard composite with a thin aluminum outer covering, But who cares, strong, light and well built, that all I've got to say.
