    "Don't You Open That Trap Door!"

    The '80s marked some of the greatest attempts at new animation techniques ever, and 'The Trap Door' is just one of those on the list. Our story takes place in a frightening environment, in the depths of a cold, ancient castle, where Berk, some kind of strange, friendly, blue blob, works as a servant to the Thing Upstairs, a horrifying monster who is never shown to us, save for his booming voice shouting commands at poor Berk. He is accompanied by his friends, Boni, a talking skull, and Drutt, a spider that communicates through strange sounds and whistles.     i bought this dvd for my little boy as he asked me what cartoons i used to watch when i was a little girl,i loved this cartoon and it was really nice to sit and watch it again with my boy,he loves it,has it on every night before bed....really clear picture aswell..
