    About time, too.

    Like the originals? Have them on VHS or DVD? This conversion set to HD is IT!!! Any serious fan has to have this collection! Packed with a fantastic book, it is THE collection! The conversion to HD is nearly flawless! The conversion to 5.1 surround is nearly immaculate! They could not have done a better job without taking another couple of years to do it! The only flaw is the little buttons used to hold the discs in place. They really are a pain and I doubt we will see that method used again by anyone. They seem ready to break off with each use. Each movie has tons of extras to it, including all the usual interviews, specials and such, and even a couple of things I had never seen before, and I thought I had seen it all.     Great memories

    They just don't make movies like this anymore today its more about special effects instead of storyline or acting. For the times the effects were really good, but more importantly, you had real actors back then, such as Charlton Heston and Roddy Mcdowel. Picture and sound quality were awesome (I have bose 7.1 system in my home.) Story line and extra features are great. If you are a Heston or old movies fan this set is a must have.

    Loved it, Had to watch 3 movies the first night...

    I was really impressed by the quality of the picture. It is a 1972 movie and enjoyed watching again. I saw this when I was young, my first movie with my dad and it didn't disappoint me again. Although the special effects are a bit cheesy and the music is really outdated, the story is amazing. If you are going to compare it with the new theatrical release, then don't buy this but if you want to see the original version. It is well worth the buy.

    A solid child dream come true

    What a thrill to be able to get the saga all at once. The blue ray just made my child hood love become awesome. Great packaging and the box was in great shape and looks good to display
