    I like this player very much. I hooked it up myself with little to no trouble which is not always the case for me and electronics. Panasonic is a brand that I enjoy using It stands for quality nice sleek design and startups are fast Pictures scenery etc are exceptional

    OK if you only watch rented movie DVDs, won't play those you record yourself

    This unit was a big disappointment. I wasn't expecting it not to be able to play any of the discs I recorded myself. It's only good for watching movie DVDs you have purchased or rented. That makes it practically useless to me. Consequently, it's just collecting dust in my basement.

    Excellent DVD-Player!

    This Panasonic slimline DVD player packs a lot of bang for its buck! I have had my player for several years with heavy use and not a single problem. IT plays audio CD's as well, for those who do not have a CD player. I am most impressed with it's slim design and silent operation and of course, I love the remote for the times you just have to pause or rewind! Worthy of noter: if you have a surround sound or other audio enhancement there are easy to set options for the type of speaker layout and sound style you are looking for. In short, you can plug this in and go, or program it to be more "high-tech". Panasonic products have always been a known as quality, but I have to say that this DVD Player is a gem!

    Excellent DVD player loaded with extra features,long lasting,great value

    excellent DVD player packed with features,extra bass system,voice enhancement, Panasonic is a product that will last a long time,with little to NO trouble & this particular DVD player is one of the best ones,that does, compared to other "cheap" or low cost DVD players this one packs a good bang for your buck,loaded with many extra features that others do not have.S-video hook up along with progressive scan,are also some of the features also present here
