These emblems are of a classic vintage, circa 1962 . I believe that they were on the panheads of the era. I could be wrong , who cares,..: These will adorn my 1998 sportster 1200 , & hot damn I Can't wait ! Super cool design from what I consider the last years of authentic Harley Davidson: made in America , in a factory run by the family, in Wisconsin. Cycles that were made of true precision, & tested thoroughly until each make past every test before hitting the streets. No "Wall St. weekend warrior " image, none of that bullshit jive. Loved everything about the emblems minus the fact they do not fit on 08' later touring bikes. Purchased because the details said they would fit 5 & 6 gallon tanks, it did not. Again, great looking emblems but don't fit 08' later touring models

Probably my favorite HD tank emblems of all time, available from Harley with an adhesive mounting plate that allows you to put them on later fatbob tanks that don't have the screw mounts like the old tanks. Quality is exceptional, and mounting is a breeze!

These are a sweet set of emblems. The fact that they came with the mounting plates and screws also is even better. The quality looks and feels very good. I feel the images don't do them justice. They look incredible on my 1996 softail!!! I will likely buy another set and hope another bike comes along for them!!!! : )

The quality is superior. The backing is of tin( flexible) w/3M adhesive. The emblem itself is sturdy and already curved for the tank to simply screw on. Delivered as promised in a timely manner. And the price was reasonable.
