      Sony vid 8 Handycam TRV 57, Excellent video machine for all occasions

      I primarily bought this camcorder to record my old 8 mm and Hi8 videos to a dvd then transfer them to a computer. This Sony TRV 57 is a great camcorder for all occasions, especially with its Steady shot , Low light filming, Night light, other features, and the fact that it plays and records both 8 mm and Hi8 tapes. it's a little big compare to some other newer models but I don't care because it performs very well. So far it's been great and I plan to use it as much as possible. But if you don't like these older models, there are many newer smaller camcorders available out there that are more versatile with more features that record on a hard drive (no more tapes) that you can buy, it's your call ,..!

      Spent $149.00 For Sony handycam recorder There was no cord and when I spent $50 to buy a chargio for the 2 batteries that came with it the batteries were no good Now that’s another 20 or 30 bucks for a new battery this is crazy I should have brought the cheaper cam corder for $75 i probably would have had better luck

      Good cámara !

      I like the cámara but there was one problem , i dint get a battery charger , So I did have to purchase one to start using the cámara, overall works ok.

      So glad I bought this!

      I bought this camera so I would be able to watch all my old home movies (8mm/Hi8) and it works so great!!! All these years I wanted to find the camera that went with the tapes, but I should have just bought this one from the start! I plan on converting the tapes to computer files soon. By the way, this camera arrived so fast!!! It felt like magic.
