It needed to be completely charged before doing anything with set up. It was supposed to be unlocked, and though it showed Verizon when turned on it switched to ATT as soon as I put my SIM in the device. I am up grading from an S8 so is going to be a huge learning experience. This so far has been a good decision. Seller, Quality, Value, Appearance, Condition all graded A+++.
