      Good value Scytek remote

      I wasn't sure if this remote would work on my system because I wasn't sure of the model I had. I took a leap of faith and am glad I did. The remote paired perfectly with my Scytek system. The quality is significantly better than the original remote. The buttons are extremely responsive and I got a great deal. Definitely worth every penny because the last remote was useless. Highly recommended product! Oh and I never found out exactly what model Scytek remote start system I had because there were no model number labels anywhere. I think I had an older Scytek Astra 1000rs, if that information is helpful to anyone.

      One bad button

      The button on the side was only soldered on with the electrical connection and not with the mounting tabs so when I pressed it, it pushed inside. I soldered the mounting tabs to the circuit board and it works fine. It's tiny and not easy to solder for me. Works great after that fix, but the buttons are smooth so I have to look at it to see which button I'm about to press. I'll probably buy a second one because I like the small size and shape, I just wish it had texture on them to be able to feel which one I'm on.
