No more Batteries!
Have been using digital metric/english calipers for years and was tired of the flashing display when batteries were low, No more! When these calipers come out of the tool box I know they are going to work! English and metric reading at a glance thats great! With the extra discount off when you buy a second pair, I got one for at home too! Very good quality for not a lot of money. Under inspecting with a 5X loop the grinding quality is amazing for this low price. Thanks again! A disappointing unfinished product
Quality is an issue. (I suspect it might be, given the price.). The indicator hands were not regulated. With the jaws closed, the dial read a bit more than .001" and 0mm. I contacted the seller and got instructions for removing the crystal (?) and removing, regulating, and installing the hands -- using screwdrivers! I've seen the tools watchmakers use to remove and install hands and can't imagine doint it with screwdrivers. I'm curious to see how it turns out.Quality is an issue. Good quality, Very handy.
These are my second set of these specific calipers. I really like the dual metric/imperial readings, very handy. They are also of good build quality. Wish they made a 4" version. I would love to have a pocket sized set of calipers.
