    Good product for the price.

    It works as expected, the only issue I noticed is occasionally it dropped audio output to my receiver. Not sure if I had a loose connection, it worked once I unplugged and powered up. It’s been a few days and not seeing the issue again.

    Works well.

    This device does what it says it will do and I've had no issues with, but I do wish it didn't require a power connection to work. That takes up another receptacle in surge system.

    Does what its supposed to do

    The digital coax output on my DVD player didn't work but the optical output did. I needed that coax since the optical inputs on my receiver were already filled. This gadget converted the DVD's optical output to the coax input without detectable degradation. A very handy little box.

    Worked as expected

    I used it to convert the optical output of a MDS-JE520 Minidisc deck to the coaxial digital input of a Tascam DR-680 in order to transfer minidisc recordings without going through an extra D-to-A and A-to-D conversion. It did the job as expected and transferred the recordings.
