    They fit and work.

    I've had this system for the last 8 years or so. I find replacing these filters quite easy. The water in the faucet/tap taste a little wierd and during drought it taste like sediment/mud, it had Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) 450ppm in water, just under the 500ppm max limit. When I tested the water coming out of the filtered water tap it's was 50ppm and no taste. I've never tried the aftermarket filters for this system, as 50ppm is real good. The filters also come with new push fittings for the plastic tubing. All of the filters are sealed in plastic so there isn't any contamination. The plastic comes off easily and the filters fit perfectly every time.

    Mineral filter cartridge gives off chemical taste

    Good price for everything in the kit, but the mineral filter introduced a bad flavor to the water. Its been 3 weeks since the cartridges were changed and the taste is almost gone. Not sure if the cartridge could be flushed somehow prior to installing. We had to filter the water again with a counter top charcoal filter to get the taste out.

    Looks good.

    At this point I only replaced final carbon filter and alkaline filter. I thought all RO system was universal in piping size. I was incorrect. I needed to purchase a couple of fittings. Before connecting alkaline filter, you must flush carbon filter as active carbon particulates will clogs the alkaline filter. Otherwise, replacement went well. I will see in a couple of months how prefilters will fit to my RO system.

    LOVE these filters & iSpring RO system!

    These filters do an amazing job filtering out all the harmful chemicals from our city water! The chlorine smell from our tap water is so strong it smells like pool water, and these filters completely remove all of the smell and taste. We were also excited that this system filters out herbicides, pesticides, and fluoride, along with remineralizing the water. With a simple modification we were also able to hook it right up to our refrigerator's ice and water system, and now we can have chilled RO water along with chemical- and fluoride- free ice cubes for drinks. This is by far the best filtration system we've ever had, and we'd never be without one now! :-)

    Would be better if they were made in the USA

    Unless you use your purified water for everything, (like filling your pots with water to boil some pasta) then the recommended replacement is far too soon. I use my purified water for making ice, drinking water and when adding water to prepared food for a family of 6. Basically my rule is, if the water stays in the food I use purified but if I just cook something in the water then it is tap water. At 12 months the TDS has not changed a bit and I'm sure I could go longer before I really need a filter replacement. This pack is good for 2 years for me.
