      Great fun way to play older games on one system

      Purchased this item to use older Zelda NES games on SNES, interesting concept. plug game on to adapter, then insert into SNES. Connect Stereo plug adapter into retro port and then into RCA ( no need for SNES video connector). Runs good. Only concern is that you have a "tower" sticking out of console when both connected, easy for younger hands to use tower, i.e. hit or wiggle and damage SNES. Buy if you don't have a NES this is the retro grand slam! good job.

      It works perfect and as expected.

      For the price this is a great deal! Also it's ideal for those that don't want to own an additional console, but do want to play other systems games. We are full-time RVr's, so anything that can avoid unneccessary space being used prevails. Yes, even things as small as an NES can add up to take substantial (wasted) space. This adapter is essentially a NES console in a cart form utilizing the NOAC (Nintendo on a chip). What this means is it utilizes the power & controllers of your SNES only, you will connect an included RCA composite (a/v cable) from the cartirdge to your TV. (replacing where your SNES is plugged into your TV) for the audio/video. The only drawback, in my opinion, is there is a mild concern with the game carts protruding from the top (of the Retroport), with little support ...

      Good not great

      I'd recommend this for using your nes games in an snes console. However it's a little finicky when it's used as an adapter in the RDP. The cartridge does not seat firmly enough. That makes it difficult to read your nes games properly. Minor adjustments would really help.

      Plays nes games on your snes

      Image quality is excellent and the sound is nearly perfect with most games. You could almost use it as a replacement for your NES. Cannot use accessories like the Zapper or ROB but that is only one tiny downfall.

      Excellent way to play nes games on your super nes or super famicom. It can be finicky with cartridges but it's a smart way to save space and money
