      Will not prime

      When I got everything setup for start. I used the prime by hand and it would not prime. I took it apart and tried again and will not prime. I got to looking at my hoses and decided I cut one to short and I said thats got to be the problem. I got on eBay again and bought another hose. I put blocks under filter to raise it about 4 inches. Thought that it would work their. No prime again. I’ve been hearing all clicking noises. I was done til new hose got hear which was yesterday. Every time it didn’t prime I cleaned everything and worked from the beginning each time. Got the hoses ready and same thing. I took the impeller head loose and plugged it in. I watched the imp. Jumping and stopping regular. I unplugged it and alighned and same thing. That was it. I had help but talked and showed ...

      Fluval 307 and 407

      I purchased the model above this for a diff. aquarium and liked it enough to buy this one for my second aquarium. The power of these units eliminates the need for a wave maker. Clean clear water and silent running. Sold on fluval will not waste money on any other brand.

      Great quality, and fairly priced.

      I bought this filter based on knowledge of brand quality and looking up reviews online. I installed this filter to replace another brand that I have in my tank. To be specific the other brand is called BioBox 2. The bottom line, it sucked. The Fluval 307 by far blows the BioBox 2 away. Fantastic water flow and good filter media. Buy it and you won't be sorry.

      I purchased the 307 for a 40 gal tank. The setup was fast and easy, good instructions provided. This is the quietest filter I've used, literally you can't hear it running, and I have the filter outside the aquarium stand. Cleaning the filter is easy and through, everything comes apart.

      Great filter highly recommend

      I used this on a 29 gallon tank and it works great, i would say up to a 40 breeder it would handle, using it in a live planted 29gallon also with a small hang on back filter really keeps the water nice and within parameters, I recommend adding extra bio media in this filter to really get the bang for your buck.
