Cheap battery trimmer from a good brand
It is a nice device overall, and definitely good for its price. But do not expect that you will be able to trim your hair with it (unless you want to cut everything to a very short length). The device is quite loud, much louder than the wired professional hair trimmer by Wahl. Included extensions allow you to select 1.5 mm, 3 mm and 4.5 mm cutting length. There is also one that is supposed to be adjustuble, "5 positon guide comb", but this is the most dangerous one. Depending on how you hold the trimmer, it will cut some random length between 5 and 15 mm, really horrible experience. Changing the position does not change much, because of the shape of the comb. So if you need to be able to evenly cut hair to some longer length, than 4.5 mm, this device will not help. It will just ruin your ... It is a nice device overall, and definitely good for its price. Really good beard trimmer. Bought Wahl because I have had their products before and this one didn't disappoint. Very sharp blades so no drag when in thick hair. Excellent size and ergonomically shaped. Battery life appears to be very good as well. Use it about three times a week and haven't had to change the batteries yet also no drop off in power noticed. I've looked for quite a while for some beard and mustache trimmer, looked over couple of dozens of models and finally found this Wahl Preformer 5537-217. Bough it for myself. The price was very reasonable. When I received the item and tried it for the first time I understood that I must purchase another one for my father. :) It's easy to use. Very quick performance. No pain. Does exactly what I need. One word: excellent! Good buy.
I bought this product for beard trimming. It's good battery operated trimmer which is easy to use. However it does not give you a trim short as you may want. On comparison a top product for this price range. Hope this review helps other ebay member/shoppers. Thanks

It's ok but......
It was cheap enough but I find it is very small and lightweight to hold. The actual width of the cutter means it takes quite a long time to beard trim. Good for travelling because of the weight.
