    Jegs 80064 Engine Cradle - easy to assemble & roll engines around the shop

    Good price for the cradle, works great to move complete engines around due to having cast iron wheels, frame is light weight and convenient to store (you can even hang it on the wall) when you are finished with it. The only issue I experienced with each of the (2) cradles I purchased is that you have to pry on the sides where they bolt up to the motor mount areas on both sides (to line up the block holes with the cradle plate) most likely due to slight warpage during the welding process when manufactured. The best way to add these cradles to an engine block is to leave all of the mounting bolts just started until all are installed - then you can tighten them all up Both cradles had the same issue when installing them to my engines as mentioned, but I would buy again - you couldn't make one ...

    THE STUD IS SWAGED TO THE ROTATING WHEEL FRAME BAD DESIGN ! THE STUD SUPPORTING THE ROTATING WHEEL ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE WELDED IN PLACE OF BEING SW

    GOOD DESIGN, BUT THE STEEL WHEELS ARE NEEDING IMPROVEMENT ! THE STUD THAT THE WHEELS ARE ATTACHED TO ARE STAMPED TO THE WHEEL FRAME, AND THEY HAVE COME LOOSE, AND THIS IS A WEAK POINT , IN THEIR DESIGN! I HAVE HAD TO REMOVE THE STUD FROM THE ENGINE FRAME , REATTACH THE STUD TO THE ROTATING ASSEMBLY, PUT THE BALL BEARINGS BACK IN PLACE, THEN WELD THE STUD TO THE WHEEL FRAME AND REASSEMBLE THE WHEEL TO THE ROTATING ASSEMBLY ! ALL IN ORDER TO MOVE THE ENGINE FRAME ON MY GARAGE FLOOR ! ALSO DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS THAT TIE ALL 3 PIECES OF THE FRAMEWORK TOGETHER . YOU WILL BE FIGHTING TO GET ALL OF THE BRACKETRY TO FIT THE ENGINE MOUNTS AND REAR BELLHOUSING BOLT HOLES

    SOLID, STURDY and TOUGH... Great value

    I though this would be an okay cradle for the price. It really is solid. I have a Big Block Chevy engine on it (fully dressed) and this thing still rolls just fine. Casters are better than I expected as well. I have a rough driveway, but they worked just fine on it. Can't beat the price either. This is so much easier then storing on an engine stand, or on wooden blocks in the corner of your garage.

    Jegs 80064 engine cradle

    I was amazed at the quality of these I ordered 2 and both were well built and now have fully dressed out BBC's on them and roll with easy the assembly was super easy and quick and the fitment to the engines was spot on. Long story short I would highly recommend this product you are getting a lot more for your money than you would expect.
