A big improvement!
I have an American Standard Stratocaster that had intermittent buzz from the saddles on the g, b, and high e strings. Bought these as a remedy. They are easy to install, not hard to intonate.(I did them one at a time. Positioned the new one where the old one was. It worked well.) They are just a better design! Now I have NO buzzing and they help make my Strat sound more vibrant and alive. A far better choice than the sheet metal ones without a notch. I would highly recommend these to anyone with a Fender. Tusq saddles
When you open the package and inspect these, you will notice the sound they make That is what they sound like. They WILL change the sound of your guitar. They say you get more harmonic content and that may be true, but it is a cold ceramic like sound. It does seem to add a bit of sustain. Do not put these on an already bright guitar.The black graphite Graph Tech saddles take away your high end, these give you high end. You will also need to file off the little plastic tabs from the molds. I had to get these as nobody makes saddles for my early Kramer Pacer so I was glad to get them, but I will put the brass ones on when I locate some.These would be great on a dark or dull sounding guitar,really add some clarity and cut, but on an already bright guitar, it could be trouble. Awesome Product
These are the BEST saddles on the market. They provide much lower action and an awesome dynamic to the sound of my Tele. After going through 3 other manufacturer's saddles, I've finally found the best for me. I'll always go to these saddles in the future. I truly can't believe the difference these have made!

Tusq bridge pieces DO add to overall acoustic qualities of the guitar. The result is audible ! White coloured bridge pieces worked well for me, but more colours choices, beyond the greyscale, would make for their added decorative use on many fancy-coloured guitars. My Tusq bridge pieces needed quite a bit of de-burring. 30 minutes of filing and sanding is an easy job, but for the price paid, this ought not to be necessary.Tusq bridge pieces DO add to overall acoustic qualities of the guitar. these saddles work perfectly, get yourself some!
bought a brian may guitars red special recently. amazing instrument, BUT the wilkinson bridge's stock saddles were constantly blowing strings on me live. so i got a set of these to try, and frankly, i'm amazed. the primary tone of the instrument improved, and i got better sustain out of it as well... and a couple weeks in, beating the bejesus out of it live, i have yet to break another string. well worth the investment!bought a brian may guitars red special recently. amazing instrument, BUT the wilkinson bridge's stock saddles were constantly blowing strings on me live. so i got a set of these to try, and frankly, i'm amazed. the primary tone of the instrument improved, and i got better sustain out of it as well... and a couple weeks in, beating the bejesus out of it live, i have yet to break another string. well worth the investment!
