The chain is the exact size as shown in the picture I provided, because I took the picture. It is the easiest pendant to change out the crystal, as the crystal sets in an indention designed for the pendant to set in! The crystal will literally fall out after you have unscrewed the front piece from the back piece, if you turn it over after the separation of the front and back. Or if you touch it while it is in the indention it will easily move. I am sorry that you are having a problem!

I purchased this item on March 15, 2024 at 10:17 pm. Within minutes I realized it was not what I wanted to purchase and wrote the seller to cancel the order. They shipped the item on the 19th. They had plenty of time to cancel the item but refused. There customer service is terrible and they should be ashamed that now I have to pay for this item and still purchase what I originally wanted. I asked them multiple times to refund but they did not. terrible customer service.
