  • An improbable AU, but a fun read

It's quite readable, if a little heavy-handed on the analogy with the insurgency in Iraq. I have my doubts about how long even such a well-thought-out and well-prepared insurgency could have lasted in post-WWII Germany, and also about how much support there'd be for bringing the troops home if the Germans were still shooting at us.
