    Good Book

    Provides interesting in depth viewpoints of the 1917 Communist Revolution. Its illustrates the power illusion of soviets representation of the working class, their neutering & submission to the elite of the communist hierarchy. the very people the communists claimed to represent they suppressed, starved, imprisoned, exiled and murdered. they magnified class hatred to maintain control. its explanation of the white army's failure to obtain victory in the civil war is interesting. the book deals with the history of several aristocratic families before, during and after the revolution and how they were affected by it. The historical facts presented are not normally found elsewhere and for this alone the book makes worthwhile reading.
