    Great movie, great price!

One of director John Carpenter’s best, starring Jamie Lee Curtis AND her mother Janet Leigh. Good movie to watch around Halloween. Engaging, suspenseful.

  • Still Scares Me Silly

Just a really eerie film.. No words can do this classic film justice.. It has it all. Town villagers using religion to kill a ship full of sick men and steal their gold.. After promising to give them a safe place to live out their lives, instead, they use a camp fire to run them in to the rocks drowning all onboard. They steal their gold and use it to fund the towns church... Now, years later, the fog returns and with it the angry tortured souls who drowned that fateful night, they seek out the decendants of those who led them to their watery graves.. I loved this movie growing up.. Still do! To this day I still can't handle fog..

  • The Fog ws special edition

This movie has the outtakes, and the bloopers. The making of the Fog, the story board. This is the original film, by John Carpenter, written and directed by John Carpenter. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, John Houseman, and Janet Leigh. This version, the original has the Fog, the schooner, the minister of the town on the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the town, comes across his great-grandfathers ledger, and the ledger, shows it was the founding fathers, who accepted their fate, for what they were doing, in founding and preotecting their town. Unbeknownest to them, their descendants 100 years later would be cursed. This film like all original films, should rate higher... about 4.9. As the special effects of our time, were the best ...

  • the fog should always be feared in the distance

  • Classic The Fog

This movie is a classic!!! Addrienne Barbeau, Hal Holbrook, Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh (PSYCHO SHOWER LADY), Richard Cyphers and other greats did one heck of a job back in 1980 for that era's capabilities. Today, things are all digital and more intense but never as scary as This classic and many others of its same era, such as halloween and Friday the 13th. I Highly recommend this movie to anyone, even if they are a younger generation so they can see what real work was back then. I have this on VHS and wanted it on DVD and the original version instead of the updated new version. To me that version wasn't quite as scary. There is no substitute for Classic Horror. THE BAT
