    Very encouraging birth story book! Highly recommend!

    I bought this book hoping to gain enlightening real life stories of women who had given birth naturally in the comfort of their homes. This book certainly does that. It also gives so many helps to someone who might like to become a midwife. I was impressed with the honesty in this book about complications and what to do about them. It has a great deal of help to new nursing moms and also gives a lot of help for things such as diaper rash, ect.

    excellent reference manual

    I absolutely love this book. I have had 4 homebirths out of 7 and used this as my reference guide when my husband was my midwife. It's very comprehensive and understandable although their layman's terms are a little too layman. This is a great book in an emergency and has understandable step-by-step through the birth process. I purchased this book for two of my daughters when they were expecting their first baby.
