    Best seat in the house

    When we had new toilets installed a couple of years ago, they had this lid. We grew to love them. I won't go in to how my daughter, 40 yrs old , managed to damage one , but we had to replace it with a like item. We can't live without our quiet-close seats.

    Not Koehler Quality expected

    I think the engineers took their Material Cost Out too far. The seat looks good, the design and color (white in my case) are excellent. However, when you sit on the closed toilet seat, it flexes. I thought I was going to fall through when I first sat down. I realize there are few occasions that you’ll sit on a closed toilet seat, but the material is very thin and not complementary of a Koehler product. I will not be buying this particular seat as a replacement again.

    Recommend quiet close seat

    the quiet close seat is great especially when people are using the bathroom at 2:00 am. Prices on ebay and amazon are all over the place; While I got a few cents better price than most I think that something around $20-24 bucks is a good deal but the market is running the show.

    Very quiet!

    I love how quiet it is; the lid and seat closes slowly without making a sound. The quality for the price is nice too! It took me a little to get uses to the tight grip. at first it was not very comfortable; however, I got used to it after a couple of weeks.

    Go with the Grip Tight!

    Sturdy and we love the grip tight softer bumpers. I had always thought the issue with breaking hinge screws or hardware was the strength of that hardware itself, but not letting the bumpers slide easily, like the grip tight does, is at least as important. Overall the seat is very solid yet not heavy. Great value and appears to be very good engineering!
