    Use Caution if Considering for Windows 10

    After many hours uninstalling and installing drivers and various other software (e.g. VPN and anti-virus) that could be interfering, I am still unable to get the ethernet adapter to work in Windows 10 (version 1607). The connection drops almost immediately after the device starts up. Windows Network Troubleshooter resets the adapter, but that does not fix it. Surprisingly, the adapter works when plugged into a USB 2.0 port, but not when plugged into any of my USB 3.0 ports. Ethernet chipset is Realtek RTL8153, which should work on Windows 10. Since the adapter works fine in Ubuntu 16.04 on the same dual-boot computer, I am confident that there is no problem with the adapter or computer hardware. Ubuntu 16.04 recognized the adapter and installed the driver automatically. The USB 3.0 ...

    USB 3.0 Hub and gigabit ethernet adapter

    The gigabit connection is slow 350mb max speed on usb 3.0 port, and looses drivers constantly. windows 10 has problems with the Realtek GbE Family Controllers drivers... in my opinion, it is not a good choice. it would cost to much to return it, so I just threw it in a box for later e-waste. I wouldn't buy one again

    EXTREMELY FAST gigabit access . Plus excellent quality USB hub , Im probably gonna get another and remove my PCI gigabit card.

    I have gotten a sustained 8mbs from my interent with this interface and finally have 3 ports for my acer tablet. Also I am reducing the radiation I receive as my tablet is usually too close to me at night so Im very happy for the price . Other then they really need to give a little more cable like a whole foot maybe it's basically perfect if you have a 1 port USB 3 tablet like me.

    GOOD-- Holds very well -easy to store-easy to use on clean windshield BAD - on rare occasion will lose suction fall off and startle driver (normally due to improper application) Recommend - wrap power cord around rear view mirror to keep unit from falling to floor and slightly moisten cup
