I only use overdrive pedals to shape distortion and amp drives for high gain. I connected it before my mxr 5150 pedal and it made it sound from good to awesome. I have many name brand overdrive and this is just as good as some and better than others. I also love the housing and art work, it's my new go to pedal

So cheap it’s criminal
Was expecting a noisy and cheap item but what I received exceeded my expectations and then some. I cannot recommend Caline products enough. My experience has always been top notch and this tube screamer clone is no exception.

Caline Captain Silver overdrive pedal
Excellent guitar pedal! I was a little hesitant to buy this one, regardless of the positive reviews, because another Caline overdrive pedal I bought a couple of years ago makes a loud pop whenever I switch it on. But this one doesn't do that. It sounds very similar to my Ibanez TS-9 pedal in that position. The TS-808 position is brighter, so it's not as 'bluesy" in my opinion, but it might work well on some rock songs. Excellent guitar pedal! I was a little hesitant to buy this one, regardless of the positive reviews, because another Caline overdrive pedal I bought a couple of years ago makes a loud pop whenever I switch it on. Great pedal for the price
It's about what you'd expect out of a tube screamer clone. The price point is great. I'm running this into the blue channel on my 5150iii w/ EL34s with the gain a little way up. I really enjoy it. Didn't care for the blue channel prior to the pedal.
