    Leupold 8X25 compact

    I lost my Nikon somehow. Replaced with this Leupold, which is a good brand. Not made in Japan though. These are good and worth the cost. I keep these in my Jeep Wrangler for quick use.

    These Leupold compact binocs were purchased to use whenever and wherever a larger pair would be difficult to carry or use. For this purpose, and in this price range, they are exceptional. They are compact, light, and have good optical qualities. One can't go wrong with Leupold products, but these exceeded my expectations. Dr Bill

    Good birdwatching/hiking bincoulars

    Lightweight, properly collimated (means you won't see double.) Easy to setup properly. Sharp images. Only negative is that the carrying case is too small to squeeze the binocs and the strap in at the same time. Don't know why manufacturers do that.
