About this product

Product Information

Aired on T.V. in 2005 as a special event, Deal or No Deal drew millions of people to NBC to watch others compete for the million dollar prize. Now, families can join in on the action with the DS version of the hit show. The game features the voice and likeness of Howie Mandel, as well as beautiful models and the mysterious banker. Instead of cash prizes, winners get a briefcase with chores for the loser such as "make my bed," and "wash the car." Deal or No Deal includes a handful of mini-games designed to round out the gameplay experience.

  • Deal or No Deal for Nintendo DS

I like the way the game plays, just like the TV show. The two other games in single mode are also interesting, a nice addition to the game. You can shorten some of the narrative parts of the game. You can allow random picking of cases and don't even have to use the stylus if you don't want to. These are all the good things. The main thing I don't care for is that there is no way to save your "scores" in any of the games to compare how you had done previously, a major disappointment for me. I thought the graphics during gameplay on the bottom screen could have been better. Lastly, I thought the mandatory disclaimer to the game each time telling us there was no real money involved may be necessary, but takes way too long to get started.

  • Lots of fun to image it was a real game on TV!

I got this game for the Nintendo DS. It's fun to play and pretend its the real TV show im in, haha! Just the idea of picking cases at random is the fun of it. Every time I play, I think and imagine... "Should I take the offer" or "No I don't want to chance it" then when I finish game. I like to think (and fantasize) "What should I do with my winnings of $24000, $200000, $400000, or etc etc. What I think of the details of game, It reminds me everything of the TV show. The rules and play is JUST like the TV show. Open 1 of 26 cases, then open 6 cases before banker make an offer. Reply NO DEAL = then open 5 cases, then banker, NO DEAL again = open 4 cases , banker, NO DEAL again = open 3 cases, banker, NO DEAL = open 2 cases, banker, NO DEAL = 1 case at a time, banker reply NO DEAL on rest ...

  • Absolutely LOVE this game!

I was so happy to have found this game for the DS, as it's not offered on any of the other systems that we own (PS3/XBox 360, ONLY offered on the Wii/DS). My husband and I don't personally own a DS, but we borrow our kids' and often leave the game in the system itself. They love it, too :-) We went on a 12+ hour road trip and this game was the highlight. Everyone took turns to see who get the case with the most money or who could make the best deal. I'm not as courageous as the other members in my family and normally take a deal to soon. My favorite part is, just as on the show, they let you continue to pick the cases that you would have picked, had you not accepted the deal. Anyways, I'm glad that I found it and can now stop going to Chuckee Cheese to play...

  • Good game

The game is just like the tv show. It has decent graphics and easy to use. My only complaint is that I wish u could make it go faster. You can make it go faster in some areas but not fast enough. After playing it so many time I want to be able to speed it up and find out if I picked a good case.

  • I love Deal or No Deal

I recently got my own Nintendo DS so I wouldn't be playing with my daughter's anymore. She already has a copy of Deal or No Deal. I wanted to get one so we could play the game together. When I tried to find one, the only one at the stores now is the Special Edition and I didn't know if it would be compatible with the other one. I decided to try eBay to see if I could find it there. I was lucky to find someone selling the exact same game that my daughter has. I love the TV show and the game is exactly like it. There is also a game where you try to open the vault by guessing the correct combination. That one is neat because if you don't guess the right numbers, it will tell you if you're too high or too low for the numbers. You keep guessing until you guess all three numbers correctly. If ...
