I ordered the TPMS tool and it showed up later than expected and was broken. I reached out to the company and they were in constant communication with me and were apologizing for the delay on my product. They offered different solutions but I said I could wait for the product to show up. Then when it did arrive and was damaged in transit the company immediately offered a replacement or refund that speaks volume’s on making sure the customer is satisfied with their products.     if this doesn't fit hopefully you kept your old base cap from the broken one

    The base caps weren't wide enough for either of my standard orange gas cans however I was able to use the base off my broken one w/this one. Hopefully that is helpful to someone. I even measured before and thought the width was right but I was wrong.

    Difficult to use, thanks to California laws

    The gas can spout has vapor controls mandated by California. That version is at best difficult to use. This product seems to meet required standards for CA. It's good for what is required, just difficult to use.

    Gas can replacement spouts

    Worked well, I read and checked can information as noted in add. Add said to measure your can opening it must a certain size. Two of my cans fell into required specks, one did not so it fits two but not the third. So measure and order correctly. Good product if you do your part.

    Just right for my older plastic gas can

    The base of this spout,that attaches onto the plastic gas can = perfect diameter of my older style can. I used the large threaded nut from my can to secure this new spout = good. Did not need the small vent.
