Replacement Accura MDX keyfob shell
Purchase car fob shell for MDX Accura. My old car fob latch for the temporary key (for emergency if you get locked out but won't start engine) was loose, and the remaining key fob (which carries the transponder) is at risk to fall off. Poor design since the hook to the ring is soldered to the temporary key instead of the shell of the fob. Item came as described. You just need to open the shell (remove temporary key and insert a standard size flat head screw driver to pry the half shell apart). Transfer the silicone covered chip and coin battery assembly over to the new shell. Only missing thing in the back of the shell is the Accura logo (proprietary and cannot be reproduced without permission). The back of the replacement shell is a thin tab which comes off from the back half of the ... Purchase car fob shell for MDX Accura.
