I've never reviewed anything before, but I really thing this box is a good buy. The construction is substantial - just as described. Instructions are poor but mounting it depends on what your bike rack is like. The mounting hardware was included but is rather cheap although sufficient enough. I mounted mine on a Tusk flat rack. Had to drill holes in it to mount, but no big deal. It fits securely on the mounting plate. The keys and locks are good quality. I'm happy and I recommend this box.

Item honestly exceeded my expectations but the metal grab bar on the left side was bent. I thought about sending it back but I was able to straighten it out without damaging it so all is well now. I mounted the base plate with the included hardware. Screws were a little soft and the 3mm Allen wrench started to round the screws a little. Nyloc nuts are a nice addition to have in the kit. I chose to mount with a 1/8" slab of rubber between the base plate and the rear rack of my 2nd Gen KLR650.
