    The calcium deposits are going away

    This product removed sufficient calcium deposits from the shower diverter valve on my shower so that it works without having to force it anymore. I have lived in this home for 20 years and periodically I had to remove the calcium and I attempted to grease the slide. With the Electronic anti-scale system, it slides smoothly. I have also noticed that the calcium deposits which collect on the bottom of my shower curtain due to the water evaporating and leaving the minerals have diminished considerably. Finally I washed my car and the water spots are significantly diminished and what was left, I could easily remove them with a soft cloth and no rubbing. This is an excellent alternative to a sodium based water softener.

    May be my best investment......

    I was sceptical about this product not knowing exactly how or if it will work. I followed the instructions and it really was easy to install. Plugged it in, turned it on, select the right parameters (water pipe diameter) and that's it. Within a couple of days while flushing all the lines in the house I noticed some rust come flying out of one valve, then no more. Within a week I noticed a difference in the water. The water was just a little smoother and a tad more suds using soap or shampoo. A slight increase in water pressure and I think I have more hot water for a longer shower. The big difference was my glass shower door and water fixtures. The white spots just wiped off with a cloth or never appeared after using a squeege on the glass.     Works Great

    I was nervous but this unit works great. Takes care of hard water issues without salt. Iron concentration in water should not exceed 1 ppm. Uses very little electricity at 4.3 watts. Easy to install. Extremely satisfied with it.

    Has some limited value and may not work well in all situations.

    I waited a while before assessing this product. I have well water that contains a little iron and calcium, has a PH of about 8.0 and is high in alkalinity. The water is not hard but the alkalinity prevents a softener from being useful. The combination of elements causes corrosion and crusty sedimentary buildup especially at the shower heads. After installation there was no noticeable change in the feel of the water. However, in seven days, the buildup of deposits at the shower heads started to disintegrate as shown in the photos. At the price point of my purchase, I am satisfied with results so far but I do not think it is worth the full retail price.
