OK for a single stage vacuum pump
It does work for vacuuming out refrigeration units, not as well as a two stage pump but more importantly in my view is keeping uncontaminated oil in any vacuum pump. Water and dirt in the pump oil is the biggest mitigating factor to proper function. Runtime is also important, vacuum doesn’t flow, it migrates, so the pump needs to run for adequate time, at very least 1/2 hour to remove moisture.It does work for vacuuming out refrigeration units, not as well as a two stage pump but more importantly in my view is keeping uncontaminated oil in any vacuum pump.
