A Glimpse Behind A Blockbuster
The book features production arts from pre-production and production. The production arts make up about 1/4 of the book. The rest of the book consist of the fantastic screen play written by Chris and Johnathan Nolan. The most interesting aspect about reading the script is that we see how much lines Heath Ledger changed to make his Oscar winning performance of The Joker character more powerful on screen. Each page of the script is also accompanied by small stills of production arts along the side so readers can visualize the movie as they are reading the script. While I would prefer a little more production arts and concepts for the book, this is still a must own for The Dark Knight fans. Fans would prefer a little more production art for the blockbuster that made over one billion ... The book features production arts from pre-production and production. The Dark Knight by Universe (2008) - EXCELLENT!
This is an excellent movie memoribilia collector book for any Batman fan or collector. If you saw the Dark Knight then you should get this for a keepsake of the movie. The script I believe is word for word what was said in the movie, and it has some great pictures. This book is excellent for a coffee table piece! The only downside is that they don't have some good pictures of Twoface, it seems like they don't give him much spotlight even though the special effect makeup was so good.
