No True Low D
Even with the adjustment screw fully retracted the low D is somewhat sharp. This is a major disappointment as some users reportadely can get down to a C. A Hipshot representative I contacted about this claimed that it was the Evah Pirrazzi orchestral strings I use. He felt that the problem is that they use a synthetic, not steel core.
